The endangered North American Box Turtle was the subject of study by the American Museum of Natural History. HSI was engaged by the museum to fabricate a small GPS “backpack” that would record the movements of the turtles in the field. HSI assisted students with building the circuitry and testing procedures for evaluating the effectiveness of the technologies.
